Nutritional Therapy

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is the use of food education and supplementation to re-balance the body to achieve optimum health.

As Nutritional Therapy takes a holistic approach to health I also consider lifestyle choices, changes and recommendations which will be discussed.

Because every body is different a bespoke programme is created just for you.

Although most nutrients that you will require will come from a healthy balanced diet, using supplements will provide these nutrients in high doses and will help to speed up the healing and re-balancing process. Supplementation may also readdress any long-term deficiency.

Please note supplements aren’t a one pill wonder solution and it may take time for your body to respond and re-balance itself.

It is not about treating your symptoms but rather finding the underlying core causes to address the problem or imbalances.

It will vary according to the individual but some clients see significant improvements straight away. Ultimately I will give you the tools to heal yourself but it will be your efforts that give you the results!

Nutritional Therapy is not a replacement for medical advice. I always recommend that you consult your G.P over any health concerns and to notify him/her of your treatment plan.

Nutritional Therapy can be and is frequently used along side conventional medical treatment, either to support treatment or to alleviate some of it’s side effects.
